Rechargeable Red Emergency Hazard Light – a single replacement Knight Pod with no charging accessories (see case set of KB55R)
Emergency red hazard LED light that can be deployed in seconds by simply being dropped onto a road surface or attached to a metallic surface such as a car or trailer via its internal strong magnet.
Also used as a red hazard warning LED for identifying hazardous areas with a flashing/rotating red light.
16 LED’s in each light and 9 flash pattern’s, this highly versatile red warning beacon is extremely robust and can withstand the weight of a family saloon driving over it.
Fully waterproof they can be dropped into position and mounted as an emergency beacon on top of traffic cones or stands or used as an as in-vehicle emergency warning LED as a vehicle breakdown lamp.
An optional magnetic traffic cone adapter allows the Pods to be positioned on top of traffic cones and off of the road surface.
Rechargeable they are highly economical compared to traditional hazard beacons and hazard lamps which typically need replacement batteries every few weeks and being so robust they will tolerate extreme handling which would break a normal warning beacon.
Recharge time is 2-3 hours, the supplied charging kit can be used to charge the light in-vehicle via a 12v cigar style power point, by USB or mains.

Recharging Best Practise
Obviously commercial reasons make rechargeable LED lights preferable for some operators, we therefore recommend the following practises and procedures are followed to reduce the risk of these portable electrical products, that may have suffered operational damage been used inappropriately.
- Remove from general circulation if your rechargeable LED lights have been impacted, suffered a collision or show signs of damage
- Never use other accessories other than those purchased with your product to charge the LED lights
- Do not leave charging for periods longer than the recommended recharging period (typically a maximum of 3 hours)
- Consider using a timed switch for added security that switches off after a prescribed period of time
- Do not recharge lights that are showing signs of over heating – discolouration, excessive heat, smoke or fumes/smells are typical overheating indicators
- Always charge units where people are present not leaving them in unattended areas
- Charge units in an environment where they are away from combustible materials on a hard surface
