Description

Command attention in all conditions with Knightkit’s red traffic Wand, the KB20R was the first traffic wand we started to produce back in 2005, using more LED’s than other manufacturer’s with a total of 19 LED’s (our competitors generally use 9 so they are less visible) it has become the standard basic red traffic wand of choice when high visibility is a requirement.

Engineered for ground crew, construction teams, and safety marshals, this red LED wand features red flash and red constant signalling modes, waterproof casing, and ergonomic grip for long shifts. Trusted for ferry port logistics, airport operations, and emergency response.

A single button operation it has the following functions with a red flash, red solid and white nose cone torch feature

Operating Modes

Press 1: On & Red Flashing Light

Press 2: Red Constant Light (no flashing)

Press 3: Nose Cone White Torch

Press 4: Off

Use & Features 

One of our most popular items it is easy to operate and can be used singularly or in pairs to impart directional instructions to observers whether they be pedestrians, drivers, plant and equipment operators signallers, pilots, HGV banksman etc.

With a magnetic base it can be mounted to stationary metallic objects/vehicles and an optional tripod allows it to be deployed on ground surfaces at an elevated level and used similarly to a traffic cones but without the same bulk and weight.

With a length of 27 cm’s, belt clip and wrist lanyard it weighs in at just 280 grams with batteries installed (batteries not incl.)

The wand is sealed offering superior performance in adverse weather conditions and is made of resilient polycarbonate light sleeve and tough ABS handle which makes it resistant to shock and damage.

Ideal for traffic management at large events, on construction sites, for car parks and traffic diversions and visible at over 300 meters in the hours of darkness – a truly valuable piece of equipment which also has an effective torch feature in the nose cone too.

Traffic Cone Adapters

Traffic cone adapters that can be dropped over any rounded traffic cone, have a metallic top that allow the traffic wands with their magnetic bases to be located on top of traffic cones.

There is also a non metallic cone adapter option allowing traffic wands to be permanently bonded to the cone adapters, makes them more secure in adverse conditions and less prone to casual theft as less pocket friendly.  Read more here.

Tripod Stands

A tripod plastic hi-vis mounting allows the traffic wand to be deployed as an emergency beacon on any surface which makes it suited to  uses such as emergency road demarcation lines, helicopter landing zones and road traffic incidents to name a few possible applications. Extremely lightweight and compact it is a lot easier to transport than traffic cone alternatives.

Note – remove the uniform clip before trying to mount in tripod
