KB55B Blue Police Beacons Case Set 6 Units, as suggested are a set of 6 rechargeable blue LED road hazard lights designed specifically for the police and fire service.
Supplied in a carry case with UK mains and in vehicle car charger, these lights can be deployed in seconds by simply being dropped onto a road surface or attached to a metallic surface via its internal strong magnet.
With 6 lights in a case,16 LED’s in each light and 9 flash pattern’s, this highly versatile emergency warning beacon is bright and extremely robust, it will withstand the weight of a family saloon driving over it.
Fully waterproof they will self right so light is always visible and do not need bulky accessories although lightweight cone mounting adapters are typically used by police to position them on top of traffic cones magnetic cone adapter
Police vehicles can carry a very limited number of traditional police beacons because of space and weight considerations. However with 6 Knight Pods in a highly compact case, officers can deploy lights in series and provide road tapers and advance warning of a police presence on road bends etc.
Rechargeable they are highly economical to operate and been robust they will tolerate extreme handling which would break a normal police beacon – expect long service from a Knight Pod they are difficult to break!
A rapid return on investment can be made when considering the high level of breakages and replacement batteries required when using other less robust products. All in all the commercial argument for utilising police lights of this type is highly compelling and so is the price!
Knight Pods are used by police forces throughout the UK and Ireland, typically supplied with a traffic cone adapter so that they can be placed on top of traffic cones.
Recharge time is 2-3 hours, all lights can be charged simultaneously via one cable which plugs into the case and charges the lights whilst in situ.

Recharging Best Practise
Rechargeable LED lights by nature of how they are used and deployed are prone to damage through high impact drops or collisions, this can cause damage to components and batteries, some of which might be seen but not always.
We therefore recommend the following practises and procedures are followed to reduce any unnecessary risk presented by using these portable electrical products, that may have suffered operational damage:-
- Remove from general circulation if your rechargeable LED lights have been impacted, suffered a collision or show signs of damage
- Never use other accessories other than those purchased with your product to charge the LED lights
- Do not leave charging for periods longer than the recommended recharging period (typically a maximum of 3 hours)
- Consider using a timed switch for added security that switches off power after a prescribed period of time
- Do not recharge lights that are showing signs of over heating – discolouration, excessive heat, smoke or fumes/smells are typical overheating indicators
- Always charge units where people are present not leaving them unattended whilst charging
- Charge units in an environment where they are positioned away from combustible materials on a hard surface
