KB30CHEV Flashing Directional LED Panel for Breakdowns
A portable fold away battery powered breakdown chevron / LED Directional arrow, provides a highly effective lighted arrow indicator which operates in a yellow chase pattern or as a basic amber warning directional arrow panel when the LED’s are not turned on.

Powered by 3 x AA batteries (not supplied) the directional yellow LED arrow panel can operate for 8 hours plus with quality batteries so even with no power in your vehicle you can provide a clear warning signal of an obstruction. The arrow / chevrons light up in sequence with a yellow/amber light, advising observers of the preferred direction of travel, turn the chevron around to achieve the desired directional guidance.
With yellow/amber LED’s you are providing an advisory warning signal in accordance with Department of Transport guidance, other coloured LEDs such as red would be considered a mandatory signal and should be reserved for the emergency services.
Solid state technology makes the panel robust yet flexible enough that it can be folded or rolled up for storage. It can be deployed on any size or shape of vehicle or object and after use will fold away to be stowed conveniently in its own bag.
Made of a very rugged polyester weave, it’s extremely durable with a wipe down surface so is easy to maintain, water resistant and ideal for demanding sectors other than just broken down motorists e.g. warning light for police, fire rescue, construction and HGV operators.
It can be deployed in seconds to provide a battery powered Hi-Vis arrow warning light, its 36 high output amber LED’s been visible at 500+metres.
Hi-vis, reflective chevrons work well as visual indicators on their own but add the high output LED’s and you get a highly effective amber warning light effect, especially when considering it is powered by cost effective AA batteries.
With 8 built in magnets, covered so as not to scratch paintwork, and supplied with suction cups, the LED breakdown warning arrow panel can be attached to vehicle windows or bodywork. The suction cups allow the LED warning arrow sign to be fixed to the inside of a vehicle preventing theft or bad weather dislodging it.
Use Cases
Used as a supplementary emergency light where traffic incidents may have damaged rear lighting or where loss of electrical power means no lighting at all, the KB30 yellow chevon arrow warning light panel, powered by 3 X AA batteries can provide up to 8 hours of hazard and directional warning light indication.
Reflective surfaces supplement the LED’s and amplify light output acting as background reflectors to the 36 amber LEDs that are raised which increases reflective performance.
HGV’s stranded or parked on the highway are often difficult to see against a dark background in low light conditions. On the motorway it’s sometimes difficult to distinguish between a stationary or moving vehicle and here the chevron / arrow light panel excels, contributing significantly to road traffic safety.

Fixing Options
- 8 magnetic points on the panel allow it to be attached to vehicles or metallic objects. The magnets are incorporated inside of the chevron so as not to cause scratches or vehicle damage
- 8 re-enforced metal fixing eyelets provide secure fixing options if used with cable ties etc.
- 6 x suction cups are provided allowing the panels to be fixed to car windscreens, glass windows etc.
