Emergency Warning Light (Blue) – Cone-Mounted 360° Hazard Beacon
High-Visibility Blue Emergency Cone Light
This blue emergency warning light provides 360-degree visibility and a flexible mounting design that allows it to be dropped into the opening of a traffic cone or hung from cones and road signage using the integrated twin clips with fixing apertures.
As a blue light product, it is available exclusively to emergency services and military organisations.
Compact Design for Cone Mounting
Powered by 2 × AA batteries, the slim profile allows the light to be inserted into traffic cones with openings of 3.2cm or larger.
The supporting arms clip securely around collared road cones, preventing the unit from slipping into larger apertures and helping it remain in position even if the cone is toppled.
Secure Fixing Options
Each arm features fixing apertures that allow multiple lights to be strung together to limit movement during collisions. These points also provide secure attachment options using cable ties or rope, helping deter unauthorised removal or adjustment.
Simple Twist Operation
The Emergency Warning Light (EWL) is activated by twisting the main battery housing. This operates its single blue flash pattern, repeating at one-second intervals.
IP67 Weatherproof Construction
Rated to IP67, the unit is fully weatherproof and engineered for demanding operational environments.
Battery Life and Operational Considerations
Quality AA batteries provide approximately 6 hours of operation. As the light is intended for emergency and hazard scenarios, duration was balanced with the need for a compact design that fits inside cone apertures.
Dependable AA Battery Power
Replaceable AA batteries offer certainty for Police, Fire & Rescue, and other emergency operators who require equipment that is always ready for deployment. This avoids downtime associated with rechargeable devices, especially during shift handovers where charging status may be unknown.
AA batteries are widely available in virtually all retailers and petrol stations, ensuring operators can easily source replacements when needed.
Accessories
The EWL is designed to mount directly into traffic cones without the need for additional accessories, provided the cone has a top aperture. The integrated arms/clips also allow the unit to be hung from road signage or secured using cable ties or rope.
A ground-mounting base is planned for future development and can be fast-tracked for large order quantities. This would be similar to the base used on our KB Flare range of battery-operated warning lights.
