Rechargeable Red Traffic Wand Case Set 3, robust rechargeable case set of traffic wands supplied with UK mains and in vehicle charger accessories that will charge all wands via the case simultaneously.

These ruggedised marshalling wands are designed for heavy duty use and are equally as effective as emergency red flashing safety beacons as they are built similarly to our toughened Knight Pods as used by the emergency services and able to withstand robust handling.

Tough By Design

Customers wanted a toughened wand / emergency red hazard light and this is exactly what this wand is, with shock absorbing protective covering and built in resilience this is the most durable traffic wand in our range.

We have studied customer feedback and built features into the design that will help alleviate operator related issues that our customers have mentioned over the years.

A case example often repeated was the fact that traffic marshals and banksmen had a tendency to leave traffic wands lying around on vehicles while attending to other duties, if not retrieved damage is caused to the wands when the vehicle moves off.

This was particularly prevalent at airports, where often a marshal would perform aircraft handling operations before attending to other activities putting the wands down and later driving off with securing them properly.

To reduce the risk associated with this ‘forgetfulness’ we have flattened the bottom of the wand which stops it rolling and have also incorporated a strong magnet in the flattened base so if left on a metallic surface the wand stays in place. This also allows the wand to be used as an auxiliary warning beacon on trolleys and towed carts as it can be securely attached with its strong magnet and low profile aiding stability if moving at low speeds.

Use as an Emergency Warning Beacon

We still have a base mounted magnet in the warning light so users have two magnetic fixing points to choose from, providing options to stand on end or lie flat giving the wand more versatility with more applications as a standalone red warning light with rechargeable capability.

The wand can be positioned lying flat, in this stable position using its magnetic properties you have in effect a portable red flashing lightbar that can perform a similar function to that of our Knight Pod emergency strobe lights.

Warning Light Functions

Up/down chase pattern (LED lights from top to bottom and bottom to top in rapid succession, the wand remains illuminated and is easy to identify from background ambient lighting because of this continual movement)
Quad flash (series of 4 rapid flashes repeated)
Alternative blinks (LEDs blink in alternative sequence, the wand remains illuminated and is easy to identify from background ambient lighting because of this continual movement)
SOS (used for emergencies or for identifying access points, the slower flash rate considerably extends usage)

Advantages of Rechargeable Traffic Wands

Recharging has been made simple, no fiddly wires to connect or damage, just drop the wand in the case where the magnet will engage and charging will automatically commence (assuming you have plugged the case in with the UK mains or in-vehicle adapters as supplied!)

Being rechargeable, single use batteries become a thing of the past and although a case set of 3 wands are a more expensive initial purchase, their robustness and recharging capability over a very short time period will soon recoup a buyers investment.

With 3 wands in a case set, users have the ability to always have a fully charged unit to hand.

Wands have a length of 30 cm’s with an easy grip handle and are fully sealed against water ingress.

Our KB37AV is a toughened wand that can be purchased singularly, it uses C cell batteries so is not rechargeable unless purchased with rechargeable accessories but it is tough and used in military circles such as the USAF in RAF Lakenheath and RAF Mildenhall
