Marginally larger than are other rechargeable police light the KB05, due to the bigger capacity lithium battery, this police only PPE kit has a powerful wide beam rotational COB LED which can be angled through 180 degrees and enhanced blue and red warning LEDS to indicate a police presence helping keep police officers safe in low light conditions.
The front facing LED’s provide both the red and blue flashing police warning output as well as a white lantern effect, a magnetic base allows the light to be to secured to metallic objects in a standalone capacity.
A large metal clip will secure the police light to equipment loops, Molle vests, caps etc. with the clip having a design that can be used for peaked caps as well as wider equipment tags found on tactical vests and other PPE.

What is a COB LED
A COB LED (Chip-on-Board LED) is a type of LED technology where multiple LED chips are mounted directly onto a single substrate, forming one compact, high-density light source. This design produces brighter, more uniform illumination compared to older LED types like SMD (Surface-Mounted Device) or DIP (Dual In-line Package) LEDs.

The KB06 is a rechargeable, multi-functional police safety light which is remarkably bright and versatile, attach to police kit, beak of a bump or baseball style cap. Its larger size makes it more appropriate to be positioned on Molle style fixings but it is still extremely lightweight at 64 grams so can still perform that head mounted operation but perhaps consider the smaller KB05 if a cap mounted light is your main need.
Similarly to the KB05 police light it has a magnetic base so can be positioned on metallic surfaces hands free, with flat edges it can be positioned without fear of rolling but its rotational head allows it to be directed to areas of interest unlike traditional cylindrical torches and is a difference if comparing to our KB05 PPE light.
A robust construction, personal protective blue/red flashing and torch features make it ideal for the emergency services especially when attending roadside incidents, light output/visibility is second to none in our evaluations of peer products and the LED status indicator gives police officers warning of when a recharge is nearing.
Attached to a bump cap or Molle vest the lantern and adjustable COB LED wide beam features provide hands free options ideal for area searches. It throws out a remarkable amount of light (see video) and will easily light up a typical garden area and has a low light settings to extend duration. More than 10 hours continuous usage (subject to setting) can be achieved between charges.
An LED display indicates battery capacity and will count down as the battery drains, providing police officers with battery status.
The front panel of the police light has white, red and blue LED’s with selectable modes of operation. The white LEDs on the front panel have a low and high setting and can be used to illuminate areas in front of police officers acting like a hands free torch if hung from police kit.
Change modes and the red and blue LED’s are activated in a revolving flash pattern designed to catch the observers eye and operate as a police PPE warning light, during night time operations this function helps identify police officers and provides PPE safety lighting for road policing, identification etc. It has a greater light output than our smaller KB05 police light so is suited to high risk environments where visibility is essential.
It’s compact 60mm long x 40mm wide x 18mm deep and weighs just 64 grams, most of the weight been the high capacity battery which provides endurance sufficient for a full working shift.
Subject to setting it can operate continually for up to 10 hours as a hand directed torch, 8 hours on its hand free lantern setting and 16 hours on its flashing police warning beacon mode.
The light recharges within 2 hours and the digital indicator shows charge status, it comes supplied with its own C type charging cable.
